SOY / PET Polyol production

Polyurethane is traditionally manufactured using polyols made from natural gas or petrochemical derivatives. ECOPUR has developed a new technology of producing ecological polyester polyols based on soy bean oil and PET (PolyEthyleneTerephthalate) resin. PET is famous for its strength and common for the manufacture of bottles and polyester fibers and it is widely available everywhere.

The key to the widespread of polyurethane and its growing use is due to its extreme versatility.  
We believe that we are providing our customers with the opportunity to expand their market by taking advantage of the availability of the soybeans and PET scrap. Soybeans are a renewable, 100 percent natural resource. Apart from being able to produce high quality, cost-effective polyols with improved properties regarding strength and functionality, our technology is helping not to depend on imported products, especially petrochemicals and at the same time spare irreplaceable resources and the environment.
